Even now as an adult, do you enjoy getting away for a weekend with friends or family to spend some quality time together?
All these experiences are important in nurturing spiritual growth and development.M
In the Bible....
We see that on many occasions Jesus “withdrew by Himself”, (Luke 9:10) to be with God.
In order to sharpen and maintain our focus as Christians, we also need to “withdraw” to seek God.
It is understood that this should be a vital part of our daily experiences, but from time to time we need a place to get out of our omfort zone for the “soul” purpose of meeting with God.
Nestled in the woods....
Along the banks of Blackwater there is such a place. The newly renovated and expanded facilities at the James and Nell Dotson Walker Baptist Campground 10 miles north of Jasper on Highway 5.
